Quick Take: we did not review the Sharp LC-37GB5U hands-on, but it is similar to the LC-37D7U that we did review. Compared to the LC-37D7U, the less-expensive Sharp LC-37GB5U has side-mounted nondetachable speakers, for an overall width of 43.375 inches, which means it won't fit into as tight of a space. The Sharp LC-37GB5U also has fewer features, lacking a CableCard slot, TV Guide onscreen EPG, and a digital audio output.
